Naarangi

"a happy hue for every you"

Naarangi(meaning Orange in Hindi), just like its name, is all things zesty, joyful, and full of colour. The brand sees colour as flavour, as feeling, as thought—and builds every piece around that. Think effortless silhouettes with a traditional craftsmanship, made to feel like second skin and speak your mood, loud and clear.

The Creation Process

At Naarangi, craft is a relationship—not just a resource. The brand works with local artisans, often from small, lesser-known communities, using tie & dye, shibori, and hand embroidery. Every piece is co-created through dialogue, sampling, and shared skill, with fair pay and deep respect at the core. Production is intentionally small and slow to preserve the human touch. Naarangi also supports skill training, especially for women and younger artisans. With a growing focus on cruelty-free innovation like vegan tomato leather, Naarangi defines sustainability as care—for the people, the process, and every piece they choose to make.

Meet Rudrakshi and Ishita, the Designer

Rudrakshi and Ishita’s journey started with a chance meeting that quickly sparked a deep connection. Bonded by their love for fabric, colour, and the art of storytelling, their collaboration led to the birth of Naarangi. Rudrakshi, with her design background, had always struggled with self-doubt. But a turning point came when she embraced her true self — joy, magic, and wisdom (her legacy, in her words) — which became the foundation for the brand. Ishita, originally focused on fine jewellery, found herself drawn to fashion through her partnership with Rudrakshi. Together, they created Naarangi, a brand that celebrates bold, timeless design and the beauty of being unapologetically true to yourself.
