Handwoven cotton shirt with embroidery inspired by 1500 vintage kantha wall hanging.

"Kantha" refers to both the style of running stitch, as well as the finished cloth. It was a craft that was practiced by women of all rural classes. It is a centuries-old quilted embroidery that originated in Bangladesh (earlier known as East Bengal)
