Ajrakh is a centuries-old textile tradition originating from the Indus Valley, now practiced in Kutch, Gujarat. This intricate resist-dyeing and block printing technique is carried out by master artisans from the Khatri community in Ajrakhpur. The process involves up to 20 stages of natural dyeing and printing using hand-carved wooden blocks—resulting in textiles rich in heritage and detail.
